Bender’s dry style of Riesling is traditionally made using natural fermentation. It’s a lovely light honey colour in the glass. The aroma recalls ripe apricots and sweet golden apples, with a delicate mineral edge. On the palate, this wine is wonderfully clean and fresh with invigorating acidity.

Grechetto is a grape usually found in parts of Orvieto. Fermentation in stainless steel with wild yeast, and resting on lees in stainless steel until bottling. Fresh, intense, citrusy and slightly fruity nose with a touch of spice and fine nut flavours. Well-balanced and rounded with a robust and long finish.

Bender Pinot Noir
Pfaltz QBA, Germany 13% ABV

Charming aromas of red fruits and subtle spicy notes accompany an exhilarating ruby colour. The same flavours reappear on the palate and are complemented by rich vanilla and caramel from the time in oak. This wine is a great example of Spätburgunder (as the Germans call Pinot Noir); elegant, structured, softly tannic and long.

Owning to the blend its Floral and Raspberry aromas seem artificial. Its lean palate is acidic, with salty raspberry and red plum flavors that carry into the light weight finish.

This clean, fruit driven, full-bodied Minervois is from destemmed bunches fermented with skins for 4 weeks in tank. The colour is a deep ink garnet-red with purple tints. The nose is rich and complex with rosemary, blackcurrant, black cherries and Garrigue. It is smooth, well balanced and refreshing.

From Touraine AOC in the Loire Valley this is organically grown Gamay, fermented with natural yeast for eight days, whole bunch fermentation with no pump over to ensure soft extraction of tannins. The result is a bright red colour, aromas of red cherries. It is a light and easy-drinking wine.
